Looking for a motivated individual to work remotely with paid training at an entry level position to grow with our company.
GIS is currently seeking part-time Insurance Inspectors.
Our Insurance Inspectors, or, Field Representatives, are not only the eyes and ears of GIS, but they are the eyes and ears of the insurance carriers.
If hired, you will be responsible for scheduling survey appointments with policyholders, traveling between various sites to complete surveys, and uploading information via the company website.
This is an entry level position; no previous insurance experience is required.
ABOUT GENERAL INFORMATION SERVICES:
General Information Services LLC (GIS) is a provider of accurate, objective information to the insurance underwriting community for the past 20 years.
We provide onsite service at any address throughout Delaware, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and the District of Columbia.
Through our membership with partner companies we can provide service in all 50 states.
We are committed to delivering the most reliable information with the best possible time service.
Hours per week:
15-25 PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Receive work assignments electronically from GIS.
Provide excellent customer service to policyholders while scheduling appointments and conducting surveys/ inspections.
Communicate in person, over the phone, and via email with GIS, policyholders/homeowners, and insurance agents.
Complete field surveys/ inspections while adhering to all of GIS field policies and procedures.
Upload completed work to Quality Assurance department via company the internet.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Own and be comfortable using a Smartphone, as well as a digital camera.
Own and be comfortable using a windows-based computer.
As well as a printer.
Regular, reliable access to Wi-Fi and high-speed internet.
Possess a reliable vehicle and an insurance policy.
Be comfortable working in various weather conditions.

This can be a physically demanding job and will require the Inspector's to work outside in all elements, get from one location to another quickly/efficiently.
