ENGINEER
This individual is a Telecommunications Professional and must be capable of engineering routine and specific outside plant work orders, both distribution and feeder. Must be capable of providing administrative and field support to the outside plant work forces.
Seeking Outside Plant Engineer to work in the NJ Centralized SPOC. OSP Engineering or SPOC experience recommended. College hires with engineering degree and/or telecom experience will also be considered. Strong computer skills are a MUST.
A Network Engineer in the Centralized SPOC (Single Point of Contact) group will be a member of a team of engineers and contingent workers. This workgroup's responsibilities include but are not limited to: FiOS, DSL, and DS0-level service order provisioning, inter-departmental assistance including field technician calls, FiOS address corrections/inquiries, and the monitoring/resolution of RMAs (Request for Manual Assistance) and held orders.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
