Our client, a large Law Firm in Monmouth County is seeking a Controller whose responsibilities include:
Directing financial accounting and reporting activities
Maintaining the accounting books and records including any and all bank accounts, lines of credit, and trust accounts
Financial planning and analysis
Creation and monitoring of budget line items.
Preparation of performance reports and financial analysis / reports for senior management.
Coordinating with external accounting firm for year-end audit, preparation of financial statements and taxes.
Complying with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Aiding in the creation of cost-effective strategies to place the firm in an optimal position.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, a multi-tasker and able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of an organization. Excellent inter-personal skills are also a requisite and essential to success in our firm.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5 years' experience in this capacity in a professional service organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Excellent Compensation and Benefits package offered. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
